Wilderness V1.5

The Wilderness is an analog-voiced delay with up to 1000 milliseconds of delay time. The Wilderness offers feedback, mix, and modulation controls that are global to its two modes: tap and ramp. Tap mode offers tap tempo functionality with four available subdivisions. Ramp mode allows the user to set a slow and fast delay time, and accelerate between the two, creating a pitch-shifting effect.

Features:

Up to 1000 milliseconds of delay

Tap tempo with four subdivisions

Ramp mode to alternate between two selectable delays

External input for additional tap tempo and ramp control

Buffered bypass with latch/momentary switching

Optional trails

Top-mounted jacks

Power: 9V DC, 70mA (center negative)

Dimensions: 2.6''x4.77'' (W x L)

About the artwork:

The Wilderness design is based on the Blackfeet story, “Children in the Wilderness.” The story depicts a brother and sister, who fight to survive the wilderness and all of its challenges. In the end, the children overcome their trials and prosper within the wilderness. The story is one of many Blackfeet stories that my second-great-grandmother, Mary Ground, translated from Blackfeet to English and published in her book, Grass Woman Stories.
